Teen Mentorship

With the approach to exams upon us, many teens will be feeling the pressure at this time, while others will still be struggling to see the urgency of getting into gear.  This month I will be offering a limited number of free mentoring sessions (worth 40 EUR) to work through barriers and fears, set priorities and organise timetables.  No fee, no catch, no obligation whatsoever.

Watch out for the video coming soon which will explain in more detail.

Spring cleaning tips from Russia

One of the things I love about my job is getting to meet people from all over the world and learning about different cultures, customs and ways of life.  I confess that I knew very little about Russia or Russian’s before I met Julia and her son and got to know them over the last few years.  This week, in a lesson with Julia, our conversation turned to stereotypes, which led us onto Russians – and vodka!!

Here is what she had to say about her fondness for vodka, and it’s not what you might have thought!

New year, new chapter!

Dearest students and parents,

Happy New Year!  We are off to a positive start in our sessions, making bucket lists and happiness jars in craft and conversation and exploring Enid Blighton’s The Enchanted Wood in literacy.

The IGCSE students are preparing for mocks which they will be sitting before the end of the month- good luck guys, you are awesome!

Adult students have been looking at worldwide New Year celebrations and taking a glance at the year ahead and where they would like it to go for them.  Why not take the time to make your bucket list for 2017 and stick it somewhere you will see it regularly to encourage you to reach for your dreams?

Here’s to a happy, healthy 2017.  Dream big, live big, keep learning ❤

A busy end to the year!

I hope you are all getting ready to wind down, or gear up for the holiday season!

It has been a while since I posted, the reason for being that I now have a very full timetable and a waiting list!  Don’t let that put you off inquiring however, things change all the time with people leaving the island and completing exams, so there always room for one more before long!

I would like to thank all my clients for their loyalty and for supporting Eden Ed in its first full time year.  It is hard to believe how fast the diary has filled.  I am looking into how I can work smarter in order to be able to offer more of you, and your children, the education you need in 2017.

I am also very excited to announce that I will be training as a children’s yoga teacher in January 2017!  Watch our for announcements about this and other upcoming ventures.

Enjoy the run up to Christmas!
